Hotel Website Examples
What a hotel website should look like depends on the type of property. A structure that works well for a boutique hotel looks scattered on a three-hundred-room resort; the layered structure a resort needs creates unnecessary complexity on a boutique hotel.
On this page, we've gathered example structures by property type, and what to look for in a good hotel site.
Example Structures by Property Type
Boutique hotel — Few pages, big photos, short text. The homepage does almost all the selling on its own; the menu rarely has more than five items.
Aparthotel & guesthouse — Availability, price range and contact on the first screen. WhatsApp and tap-to-call buttons stay fixed on every page.
Holiday village & resort — Accommodation, dining, activities and events are split into main branches. Each room type has its own page.
Villa & vacation rental — Each villa gets its own page, a large gallery, an availability calendar and clearly written rules.
What to Look For in a Good Hotel Site
When reviewing a site, don't just judge whether you like the design — look at these concrete points:
- How fast does it load on a phone?
- Is the booking button visible on every screen?
- Are room types presented in a way that's easy to compare?
- Do the photos represent the property without exaggeration?
- Are cancellation and payment terms written before booking?
- Is the foreign-language version a real page, or just an automatic translation?
Assess Your Own Site
If you already have a site, you can run a quick self-assessment. Open your site on your phone and ask: if I were a guest, could I leave a booking request in three taps?
If the answer is no, the problem is usually not the design — it's the structure. In cases like this, fixing the site section by section is often faster and more cost-effective than rebuilding it from scratch.
How Would Your Site Be Structured?
Before we start, we first talk through your property and target guest profile. Then we look together at sites from similarly sized properties to identify what works and what's unnecessary.
Once the page plan is clear, we move to design and setup. We show you our work and get your approval at every step, so there are no surprises when the site goes live.
